A woman has been arrested on suspicion of trying to break into Prince George’s school yesterday afternoon.

The four year old prince, who started at the school last Thursday, was not in lessons at the time.

The suspect was arrested at approximately 2.15pm on Tuesday on suspicion of attempted burglary and remains in custody in a South London police station.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police told the Daily Mail: “We are working with the school, which is attended by His Royal Highness Prince George, to review its security arrangements after the incident.”

“Police were alerted and officers attended immediately after the issue came to light. Police are part of the protective security arrangements for the Prince and we will continue to work closely with the school, which is responsible for building security on its site.”

Metropolitan Police said they are now working closely with the school to review its security arrangements.
