Harry Styles has scored his first solo number one on the U.K. albums chart.

The 23-year-old's self-titled debut effort tops Friday's (19May17) rundown, emulating the success of its lead single Sign of the Times, which hit number one on Britain's singles chart last month (Apr17).

Styles is the second member of One Direction to boast having a U.K. number one album, following in the footsteps of former bandmate Zayn Malik, whose solo debut Mind of Mine topped the countdown last year (16).

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran's ÷ (divide) remains at number two on the new chart, with Rag'n'Bone Man's Human unmoved at three.

Two new entries, Paramore's After Laughter and Paul Weller's A Kind Revolution, round out the top five in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

In the U.K. singles chart, Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber's hit collaboration Despacito makes it two weeks at number one.

The top three remain the same as last week, with another Bieber feature, on DJ Khaled's I'm the One, staying put in second place and Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson's Symphony holding firm at three.
