BLACKROCK RESIDENT WINS TRIP TO EDINBURGH FOR THE CHAMPIONS CUP FINAL

Ciara O’Boyle was the delighted rugby fan who won a trip to the Champions Cup Final in Edinburgh thanks to Heineken Rugby Club on the weekly TV3 show ‘Clubhouse’ last Tuesday. Current Connacht Coach Pat Lam and Irish Olympian Scott Evans went head to head in a reaction test called ‘Clubhouse Challenge’ where the highest score wins. Lam represented O’Boyle and emerged triumphant from his battle with the three-time Olympian, to send O’Boyle on the all-expenses paid, VIP trip to Edinburgh in May.

Speaking about her exciting win on national TV, O’Boyle, from Blackrock commented, I’ve dabbled in tag rugby but never played proper rugby myself. I’m a big supporter however and am really looking forward to it; my boyfriend is rugby mad so I’m guessing I’ll be bringing him. It’s not my first time to Edinburgh but I’ve never been to a rugby final before so it’ll be especially exciting if an Irish team makes it!”

The Clubhouse Challenge is sponsored by Heineken Rugby Club and gives two members of the audience the chance to win a trip to the Champions Cup final each week. Heineken Rugby Club wants rugby fans to get more from the game and once signed up, members receive exclusive benefits such as match tickets, exclusive event invites, always-on discounts across some of Ireland’s top brands plus lots more.

Join the club now at HeinekenRugbyClub.com for a chance to be in TV3’s ‘Clubhouse’ audience and play for a trip to the Champions Cup final.
