Kevin McHugh was the elated rugby fan who won a trip to Edinburgh for this year’s Champions Cup Final thanks to Heineken Rugby Club on thepopular TV3 show ‘Clubhouse’. Last Tuesday, Former Ulster and Ireland star Stephen Ferris and Scotland legend Scott Hastings went head to head on a reaction test called ‘Clubhouse Challenge’in a battle of the highest score wins.
Speaking about his exciting win on national TV, McHugh, from Drogheda, Louth, remarked, “It’s my first European final and I’m absolutely delighted! One of my only other European rugby experiences was many moons ago seeing Leinster in Lansdowne Road in a quarter final of the Heineken Cup, as it was known back then! I’m delighted to be going to Edinburgh, I have been there for work and a holiday but never for rugby, so I’m looking forward to that.”
The Clubhouse Challenge is sponsored by Heineken Rugby Club and gives two members of the audience the chance to win a trip to the Champions Cup final each week.
